The City of Ankeny is hosting an Aquatics Job Fair Wednesday, March 30, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Public Services Building, 1210 NW Prairie Ridge Drive.

Job seekers will learn about available aquatics summer jobs along with new benefits including increased wages, training reimbursement, swimsuit allowance and more. On the spot interviews will be offered and conditional job offers will be made during the event pending pre-employment screening. Free pizza and drinks will also be available.

The City is recruiting for the following positions:

Lifeguards: starting wage $12.50, must be 15 to apply

Water safety instructors: starting wage $14.50, must be 16 to apply

Water slide attendants: starting wage $11, must be 16 to apply

Concessions/admissions: starting wage $10.50, must be 16 to apply

Maintenance: starting wage $12, must be 16 to apply
