City of Ankeny recently issued the following announcement.
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has presented the Finance Department at the City of Ankeny with a Certificate of
Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its fiscal year 2020 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
This is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government
and its management. This is the 19th consecutive year the Ankeny Finance Department has received this award.
