Join in the Fun at All-City Play Day

The City of Ankeny invites the community to All-City Play Day Wednesday, July 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at Wagner and Hawkeye parks, 410 W First Street. Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend this free event dedicated to play.

All-City Play Day features a large variety of outdoor play stations offering activities for children and adults. Participants can enjoy a foam party, canoes at Hawkeye pond, Touch A Truck area and a Bike Rodeo with the Ankeny Police Department. Additional activities include: dunk tank, SpinArt, water games, crafts at the Lakeside Center, tennis, pickleball, big wheel races and more. Hy-Vee will be serving food, free-will donations will be accepted to benefit the Ankeny Miracle League. Enjoy all this and more at All-City Play Day.

Parking will be available at the Terrace Learning Center, Parkview Middle School, Albaugh Family Senior Community Center and Hawkeye Shelter parking lots. Due to the street construction project on W First Street, access to the parking lots at Parkview Middle School and Terrace Learning Center is unavailable from First Street. Motorist should take NW 5th Street to School Street to access the parking lots.
