Polk City home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Polk City rose by $32,940 while total sales increased by 6.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 102 homes sold, with a median sale price of $308,890 - a 11.9% increase over the $275,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 96 homes sold in Polk City in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Polk City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,800, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
