Johnston home prices fall in January 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2020 in Johnston fell by $10,050 while total sales increased by 8.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2020, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $251,500 - a 3.8% decrease over the $261,550 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Johnston in January 2019.

The median sales tax in Johnston for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,698, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for January 2020.
