Johnston home prices fall in May 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2020 in Johnston fell by $3,215 while total sales decreased by 23.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2020, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $276,785 - a 1.1% decrease over the $280,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 39 homes sold in Johnston in May 2019.

The median sales tax in Johnston for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,698, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for May 2020.
