Ankeny median home prices fell by 4.8% in February 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2021 in Ankeny fell by $11,925 while total sales increased by 5.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2021, there were 92 homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,975 - a 4.8% decrease over the $249,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 87 homes sold in Ankeny in February 2020.

The median sales tax in Ankeny for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,836, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for February 2021.
