Polk City home prices rose in the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Polk City rose by $26,550 while total sales decreased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $263,000 - a 11.2% increase over the $236,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Polk City in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Polk City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,800, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
