Pricing for the median home in Des Moines increased during June 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2021 in Des Moines rose by $15,250 while total sales increased by 4.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2021, there were 564 homes sold, with a median sale price of $165,250 - a 10.2% increase over the $150,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 542 homes sold in Des Moines in June 2020.

The median sales tax in Des Moines for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,488, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for June 2021.
