Grand View University issued the following announcement.
Dr. Paul Brooke, Professor of English at Grand View, has been awarded an Iowa Artists Fellowship and accepted for book publication.
Brooke was one of five artists selected for this fellowship, which gives artists $10,000 for a project of their choosing. He will be completing a new book, Finding Meteorites in Antarctica: Forms Poems from Every Continent, and creating images using an electron microscope and traveling to Chile to photograph pumas. His newest book, The Skald and the Drukkin Tröllaukin: Photographs and Poems of Iceland, has been accepted by Gold Wake Press and will be published March of 2022. This is Brooke's sixth book.
