City of Bondurant issued the following announcement on July 19.
The 2021 WINNER of the Bondu Blues and Brews Homebrew Competition is Randy Daniels with his American Lager named "There Goes My Hero." American Lager has little in the way of hop and malt character. A straw to gold, very clean and crisp, highly carbonated lager.
The runner-up was Aaron Reif with his Wild Specialty (grapefruit) beer named "Tropical Wedding." A Wild Specialty Beer should show the fruit, sour, and/or funk of wild fermentation, as well as the characteristics of the special ingredient used.
