City of Johnston recently issued the following announcement.
Lunch and Lures
Join Johnston Parks & Recreation for "Lures and Lunch" at Terra Park. Participants can bring their lunch to the fishing pier and the City of Johnston Parks & Recreation Department will have bait and fishing poles for you to "cast" away from your workday for an hour of carefree catch and release fishing and aquatic education. If you are age 16 and older, you must have an Iowa Fishing License. Event registration is required.
