City of Bondurant recently issued the following announcement.
Enjoy a FREE, easy winter ride from Bondurant to Berwick & back on the Chichaqua Valley Trail (Approx. 10 miles) on Saturday, February 12th. Check-in at 10:45 a.m. at the Bondurant Trailhead before the ride starting 11:00 a.m.
Make sure to stop by Berwick Congregational Church to warm up! After the ride, savor a Chowder lunch at Founders Irish Pub or partake in some chili at Reclaimed Rails!
Free will donations are encouraged to go to the Friends of Chichaqua Valley Trail. Donation boxes will be placed at the pubs in Bondurant.

Riders experience frigid temperatures with wind chills while plowing through snow OR enjoy uncommon spring-like temperatures! You never know. The Bondurant Winter Chowder Ride is a frozen-filled morning of biking including lunch (all free) that begins and ends in beautiful Bondurant, IA.
