Polk City home prices fell in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Polk City fell by $11,750 while total sales decreased by 38.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $326,000 - a 3.5% decrease over the $337,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Polk City in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Polk City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,800, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
