Median home prices in Elkhart rose to $241,500 in 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Elkhart rose by $49,500 while total sales increased by 29.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 31 homes sold, with a median sale price of $241,500 - a 25.8% increase over the $192,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Elkhart in 2020.

The median sales tax in Elkhart for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,780, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for 2021.
