How did home prices perform in Johnston during Q2?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Johnston rose by $33,885 while total sales decreased by 38.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 102 homes sold, with a median sale price of $333,885 - an 11.3 percent increase over the $300,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 167 homes sold in Johnston in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Johnston for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,698, approximately 1.4 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
