The City of Ankeny announced the end-of-season operational schedules for Cascade Falls and Prairie Ridge aquatic centers today. Beginning Aug. 1, Prairie Ridge Aquatic Center will limit capacity to 450 people due to staffing availability. Prairie Ridge will close for the season on Aug. 7. Cascade Falls will be open daily through Aug. 22 and then open on weekends Aug. 27-28 and Sept. 3-5. Cascade Falls will close for the season on Sept. 5. Projected hours and amenities are subject to change based on total staff availability at the facilities.
Prairie Ridge Aquatic Center
- Open daily through Aug. 7, with a limited capacity of 450 people beginning Aug. 1
- Noon – 6 p.m.
- Splash with a Princess will be held Aug. 9
- Open Monday – Friday through Aug. 12
- 10-11:45 a.m.
Cascade Falls Aquatic Center
- Open daily through Aug. 22
- Weekends only through Labor Day, Aug. 27-28 and Sept. 3-5
- Noon – 7 p.m.
- Open through Aug. 22
- Monday – Saturday, 10-11:45 a.m.
- Monday & Thursday, 7:15-8:45 p.m.
