The City of Ankeny Park Maintenance team is in the process of preparing all of the parks and outdoor recreation facilities for winter. This work includes closing splash pads, restrooms and turning off water fountains for the winter months, please plan accordingly.
- Splash pads are now closed.
- Permanent restrooms at Glenbrook and Miracle Park will close Oct. 17. Restrooms at Sunrise and Sunset parks will be closed for rentals beginning Oct. 17.
- Portable restrooms will be removed from all parks during the week of Oct. 24.
- All drinking fountains will be shut off beginning the week of Oct. 17 and all will be shut down by Oct. 28.
