On Friday, March 21, former Johnston High School standout Aili Tanke’s current collegiate team the Iowa State Cyclones lost 80-74 against the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Purcell Pavilion, this was the first game against the Michigan Wolverines during the championship.

Aili Tanke’s hometown is Johnston and game position is guard.
