Thursday, Feb. 6: Johnston High School standout Avery Carnahan’s college team loses to Grand Canyon Antelopes

On Thursday, Feb. 6, former Johnston High School standout Avery Carnahan’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, lost 9-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Grand Canyon Antelopes.

The game took place at GCU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Antelopes this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at GCU Softball Stadium against Montana Grizzlies.
