Sunday, March 2: Ankeny High School standout Marina Carter’s college team loses to Washburn Ichabods

On Sunday, March 2, former Ankeny High School standout Marina Carter’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Washburn Ichabods.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Ichabods this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 12:45 p.m. at Mid-America Sports Complex against Central Missouri Jennies.
