Friday, March 14: North Polk High School standout Joe Husak’s college team loses to Western Illinois Leathernecks

On Friday, March 14, former North Polk High School standout Joe Husak’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 17-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at Duffy Bass Field against Western Illinois Leathernecks.
