Ankeny High School standout Marina Carter’s college team won in NCAA Division II softball game on Friday, March 14

On Friday, March 14, former Ankeny High School standout Marina Carter’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Purdue Northwest Pride.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Pride this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 12 p.m. at Koehler Hall of Fame Field against Northern State Wolves.
