On Saturday, April 5, former North Polk High School standout Joe Husak’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 18-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Emory G. Bauer Field. This was their second matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field against Valparaiso Beacons.
