On Friday, May 9, former Ankeny Centennial High School standout Ella Schulz’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Friday, May 9, former Ankeny Centennial High School standout Ella Schulz’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at Gerry Pinkston Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 6:15 p.m. at Gerry Pinkston Stadium against Rogers State Hillcats.
