On Friday, Feb. 7, former Ankeny Centennial High School standout Ella Schulz’s college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Ankeny Centennial High School standout Ella Schulz’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Concordia Golden Bears.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 3:10 p.m. at Maverick All-Sports Dome against Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.
