Marina Carter, former Ankeny High School standout, played on Saturday, March 1 in NCAA Division II softball game

On Saturday, March 1, former Ankeny High School standout Marina Carter’s current college team, the Minnesota State Mavericks, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at Mid-America Sports Complex against Emporia State Hornets.
