City of Johnston issued the following announcement on October 27.
The restroom facilities at Dewey, Terra and Lew Clarkson Parks will be closing Thursday, Oct. 28 through Monday, Nov. 1. The Johnston Town Center restrooms (concession building and exterior of City Hall) will also be closed. The drinking fountain at Terra Park shelter will also be turned off.
The restrooms and drinking fountain will reopen on Monday, Nov. 1. On Monday, the Parks Department will assess the weather and determine a final closure date for winter. The final closure dates for each of the park restrooms and drinking fountains will be shared on our website and social media pages. The final closures will remain in place during the duration of the winter months.
